The bandits (me) made a crucial mistake. They should have brought their archers in better positions right from the beginning of the battle. A lesson learned!
I feel Chainmail does a good job at emphasizing the importance of ranged attacks. Maybe better than the later d20 based D&D combat systems.
This was a fun little game, had fun loosing it anyway ๐

@lkh I always feel like playing Chainmail is more about the discussion of what's happening than the actual result.
But what can I say, I didn't take part as a player yesterday, and the last times we played my side was completely OP
