This is terrible advice. If travel is boring in a D&D game, that’s the DM’s fault. It is the journey that is valuable, not the prize that awaits at its end.

Get “Into The Wyrd and Wild” by Feral Indie Studios and Wet Ink Games and your travel will never be boring again.

@Da_Gut @illithilich Nope. The encounter with the Barrow-Wights had nothing to do with the goal of getting The One Ring to Mount Doom. Tom Bombadil had nothing to do with the goal of getting The One Ring to Mount Doom. The journey is the destination.

In the 1920s CoC era, Imperial Airways flew out of Croydon. Which amuses Vazh. One of the most common flights players take is to Paris (to get away from the English who cause 1d4 SAN)

The air ministry in 1926 foresaw the use of this Airport in period RPGs and helpfully printed a nice floor plan for GMs. It's sufficiently good quality for a figure battlemap, or a nice heist prop too.

                                            Very forward thinking really.

I feel like it would be funny to have the players tasked with retrieving ice cream from the ben & jerry's ice cream labs, but I feel like there should be a twist of some kind. Maybe the ice cream tubs don't really contain ice cream? Maybe there's something else going on in there? What would be funny and surprising?
